  • This TM3 safety expansion module monitors emergency shutdown pushbuttons, Limit Switches and light curtains to conform to PLd/Category 3
  • The Modicon TM3 offer enhances the capabilities of Modicon M221, M221 Book, M241, and M251 logic controllers, Modicon M262 logic/motion controller, and the TM3BC bus coupler modules
  • The flexibility offered by the TM3 expansion modules systems allows:
  • I/O to be remotely located in the enclosure or in another cabinet, up to 5 m (16.40 ft) away, using the bus expansion system
  • I/O to be distributed via islands over the networks (Ethernet, CANopen, Serial Line) using the bus coupler modules
  • It has a module locking latch, 2 TM3 bus connectors designed to provide continuity of the link between connected modules, a symmetrical rail locking clip, display block for the module channels and diagnostics
  • It completes your Modicon M221, M241 or M251 PLC configuration with a dedicated safety I/O, without the need to use a complete safety controller
  • It has removable terminals for easier and better control wires tightening, thus improving installation reliability
  • It is compatible with emergency push buttons, Limit Switches and safety light curtains, the 3 most common safety sensors in the industry
