Features
  • Non-woven stitch bonded synthetic fabric, full impregnated and coated
    with petrolatum based compounds and fillers

  • Petrolatum based PT tape does not polymerise or oxidise and therefore
    retains its water resistance and dielectric properties over an
    indefinite period

  • Used as the third step in the Petrolatum Wrapping System which
    includes Primer, Mastic, Tape and Overwrap

  • Available in Standard Temperature (ST) and High Temperature (HT)
    variations, and Marine Grade with added biocide for marine applications

Applications
  • Encapsulates steel surfaces to be buried or submerged such as pipe
    work, valves, fittings, cables and marine piles providing a stable
    environment to prevent corrosion
