Prosafe and The Fred Hollows Foundation
Blackwoods has long been a supporter of The Fred Hollows Foundation, and in 2017 we increased our commitment to the Foundation by donating 10% of proceeds from the sale of any Prosafe eyewear, faceshiled and related accessory to The Fred Hollows Indigenous Australia Program.
In FY18 we raised over $600,000 and are looking to do even better this year.
With 94% of vision loss for Aborginal and Torres Strait Islander adults preventable or treatable, The Fred Hollows Indigenous Australia Program supports increased investment in and access to culturally appropriate eye care services to remote and underserved Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
