Our lens coatings for safety glasses are organised in two groups: the Core Coatings which are versatile enough to cover a large number of applications and the Special Coatings that have been specifically developed for demanding scenarios.

Coatings on uvex spectacles: Core coatings

uvex supravision excellence

Lenses coated with uvex supravision excellence are anti-fog (at least 16 seconds) on the inside, extremely scratch-resistant and resistant on the outside. The anti-fog coating is permanent. The lenses are also particularly easy to clean due to the nano clean effect and are less susceptible to soiling.

Application: Strenuous activity in dusty and abrasive environments

uvex supravision sapphire

Lenses coated with uvex supravision sapphire are extremely scratch-resistant. The coating system refined by nanotechnology shows a considerable increase in the non-stick properties and is therefore easier to clean. Watery and greasy dirt can be removed easily. 

Application: Highly abrasive dirty and dusty environments

 
uvex supravision THS

For work areas with extremely high temperature and humidity and persistent exposure to condensation, a special anti-fog coating has been developed that gives wearers lasting mist-free vision. uvex supravision THS . Lenses coated with high performance permanent anti-fog  on both sides,  so the lens will never fog up.

Application: Constant movement between areas of different temperature and humidity

uvex supravision extreme

Lenses coated with uvex supravision extreme have a scratch-resistant exterior and permanent anti-fog interior. Fogging is not possible as the coating does not saturate. It is most suitable for working areas with long-term exposure to condensation and a high level of dirt.

Infradur Plus

Special coating also developed to protect against hazards such as infra-red radiation during welding applications as well as ultraviolet light.  Anti-fog on the inside, which protects wearers from condensation and scratch resistant on the outside to minimize damage from welding sparks.


uvex supravision clean

This is an innovative autoclavable coating with anti-fog on the inside and extremely scratch resistant on the outside. The anti-fog properties last for at least 10 autoclave cycles.

 

uvex supravision variomatic

Lenses coated with uvex supravision variomatic are self-tinting filters that offer the best vision with automatic darkening within 10 seconds and brightening after 30 seconds. With the proven uvex supravision excellence technology (anti-fog on the inside, scratch-resistant on the outside) with immediate effect. Particularly suitable for working areas with frequent movement from inside to outside, and from light to dark.
